About Martin Nugent Elite Performance

Working in elite sport, Martin noticed how the best of everything was kept for the elite performers and professionals. MN Elite Performance was founded on the basis of providing that same elite level experience to everyone of all ages and levels. In addition to elite athletes, we are dedicated and passionate about athletic development and love taking athletes from children to champions. We utilise the most up-to-date scientific methods, technology and research to ensure training is of the highest quality. Since our facility’s establishment in 2018, we have achieved the following:
- The North East Hub for the Professional Game Match Officials in partnership with the Premier League and EFL
- The Regional S&C team for the England Netball pathway programme
- The official performance coaches and consultants for two national soccer agencies
- Established relationship with Chelsea F.C.
All coaches employed by Martin follow his ethos, are highly educated (Masters to PhD), accredited under the professional board for strength and conditioning (UKSCA/NSCA) and possess an impressive work portfolio. Collectively our coaches have worked for:
- England Rugby League, England RL Youth and the Rugby Union
- The Football Association, England programme
- Newcastle Thunder Rugby League
